May 17, Norwegian independence day

Hello Hello

Happy independence day! We have celebrated our national day by joining in the childrens parade in Skjærviken, watching the parade in town, enjoying ice cream with friends in Gamlebyen and last but definitely not least joining the family party at Begby Skole (where Kaia and Hedda goes to school). A perfect family day in the - not sun, but anyway - it did NOT rain eighter!

Some Christmas pictures to share

This time I will show some pictures from Christmas. We spent Christmas eve at home in Fredrikstad, and went to Kristines brother and family on Christmas day. The following weekend was spent in Løten, at Kristines parents place.

We have had the coldest Christmas and January for years and years here in Norway this year. Cold, but also a lot of beautiful white snow.

Both Kaia and Hedda loves horses! They love tuesdays as that is when mum drives them to their good friends Odin, Pedro, Duncan, Pierre - and all the other horses......

Allo ´ allo ´

here comes an update from the Fredrikstad family. Fabia has celebrated her first birthday since last time we updated our blog. she had a ball - cakes and presents (the wrapping on the presents were great fun!), and many people comming by to say Happy Birthday to our little doll.
